Leur envie de suivre la formation sur la M\u00e9diation Culturelle du projet RE.BE.CO (REfugees to BEcome COnselours and trainers) et de commencer leur parcours de m\u00e9diateurs culturels ! Dans cet article, les participants Favour, Mariia et Daniel \u2013 originaires respectivement du Nigeria, d\u2019Ukraine et du Venezuela \u2013 nous expliquent leurs impressions apr\u00e8s cette exp\u00e9rience, ainsi que les avantages d\u2019avoir des personnes issues de l\u2019immigration comme m\u00e9diateurs culturels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais d\u2019abord, voici comment Favor r\u00e9sume la formation de 2 semaines\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par une froide matin\u00e9e d\u2019automne, dix personnes partent en voyage depuis Barcelone. Ils venaient de diverses nationalit\u00e9s et r\u00e9gions, allant de l\u2019Ukraine au Venezuela, de la Syrie au Kenya et au Nigeria. Mais les dix participants avaient un point commun : ils \u00e9taient tous des nouveaux venus en Europe. Nous avons entrepris un voyage en Italie, sans savoir \u00e0 quoi nous attendre ou non, compl\u00e8tement inconscients que ce serait un voyage qui changerait notre vie. Quelques semaines plus t\u00f4t, j&#039;\u00e9tais assis dans ma chambre, en train de parcourir mon t\u00e9l\u00e9phone lorsque j&#039;ai vu une annonce de formation li\u00e9e au projet RE.BE.CO dans la ville toscane de Bagni di Lucca (Italie) dans le Slack du Open Cultural Center Barcelone. Ayant pass\u00e9 seulement quelques mois en Europe, je me suis dit : \u00ab pourquoi pas \u00bb ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-columns-a575cf7d\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-columns has-3-columns has-desktop-oneThreeOne-layout has-tablet-equal-layout has-mobile-collapsedRows-layout has-vertical-unset\"><div class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-columns-overlay\"><\/div><div class=\"innerblocks-wrap\">\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-column-54d7c3ec\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-column\">\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-column-77ad1899\" class=\"wp-block-themeisle-blocks-advanced-column\">\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet Youth Life RE.BE.CO vise \u00e0 promouvoir l&#039;inclusion des jeunes migrants, r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et demandeurs d&#039;asile arriv\u00e9s dans les pays europ\u00e9ens, \u00e0 travers le d\u00e9veloppement d&#039;une meilleure interaction avec les institutions locales, les services b\u00e9n\u00e9voles, les associations, les \u00e9coles, les universit\u00e9s et march\u00e9 de l&#039;emploi. La formation sur la m\u00e9ditation culturelle destin\u00e9e aux personnes issues de l&#039;immigration a \u00e9t\u00e9 l&#039;un des principaux piliers de l&#039;initiative. Le 18 au matin, les d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s de Barcelone se sont envol\u00e9s pour Bologne en Italie. \u00c0 la gare de Bologne, nous avons fait l\u2019exp\u00e9rience du profilage racial, de la stigmatisation ethnique et des st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes lorsque des policiers ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de s\u2019en prendre \u00e0 l\u2019un des d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s parce qu\u2019il avait \u00ab une certaine apparence \u00bb et portait un certain nom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 retard\u00e9s pendant des heures, tout cela au nom de \u00ab contr\u00f4les \u00bb et de \u00ab proc\u00e9dure r\u00e9guli\u00e8re \u00bb, sans raison concr\u00e8te et surtout sans m\u00eame des excuses. Nous avons attendu 3 heures \u00e0 la gare. Cela nous a donn\u00e9 l&#039;occasion de discuter de nos diverses exp\u00e9riences avec la loi, les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s raciaux, la discrimination et les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes. Cette exp\u00e9rience allait servir de base \u00e0 certaines discussions lors de la formation. Nous nous sommes li\u00e9s d&#039;amiti\u00e9 pendant le retard, nous avons appris \u00e0 nous conna\u00eetre et nous nous sommes r\u00e9gal\u00e9s ensemble. Nous avons finalement pris le train pour Bagni di Lucca. Au total, nous \u00e9tions trente participants, dix d&#039;Espagne, deux de Gr\u00e8ce, cinq de Su\u00e8de et treize d&#039;Italie. C&#039;\u00e9tait comme si nous avions le monde entier dans une seule pi\u00e8ce.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au cours de la premi\u00e8re semaine de formation, nous avons eu des animateurs, des avocats, des travailleurs sociaux et des psychologues qui ont parl\u00e9 de divers sujets, notamment des lois europ\u00e9ennes concernant la demande d&#039;asile et le statut de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9. Nous avons convenu que chaque jour, partout dans le monde, des gens prennent l\u2019une des d\u00e9cisions les plus difficiles de leur vie : quitter leur domicile \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019une vie meilleure et plus s\u00fbre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces voyages, qui commencent tous par l\u2019espoir d\u2019un avenir meilleur, peuvent \u00eatre pleins de dangers et de peurs. Les gens risquent de devenir la proie de la traite des \u00eatres humains et d\u2019autres formes d\u2019exploitation. Certains sont d\u00e9tenus par les autorit\u00e9s d\u00e8s leur arriv\u00e9e dans un nouveau pays. Une fois install\u00e9s et commenc\u00e9s \u00e0 construire une nouvelle vie, beaucoup sont quotidiennement confront\u00e9s au racisme, \u00e0 la x\u00e9nophobie et \u00e0 la discrimination. Cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 illustr\u00e9 par les r\u00e9cits partag\u00e9s par les participants sur leur voyage, qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s \u00e9mus jusqu&#039;aux larmes. Notre exp\u00e9rience \u00e0 la gare nous a permis de montrer que ces probl\u00e8mes sont r\u00e9els et sont loin de dispara\u00eetre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D&#039;un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, le statut juridique d&#039;une personne ne peut pas exprimer la pleine identit\u00e9 et la personnalit\u00e9 d&#039;un r\u00e9fugi\u00e9, d&#039;un demandeur d&#039;asile ou d&#039;un migrant. Personne ne peut \u00eatre connu uniquement par son statut juridique. Les responsabilit\u00e9s des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, des demandeurs d\u2019asile et des migrants sont d\u2019\u00eatre des citoyens du monde responsables et de montrer aux habitants les avantages d\u2019\u00eatre r\u00e9ceptifs aux diff\u00e9rentes id\u00e9ologies et cultures. Apr\u00e8s tout, on dit que la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 est le piment de la vie. Ainsi, les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et les migrants devraient se voir offrir un endroit s\u00fbr o\u00f9 vivre et des opportunit\u00e9s d\u2019acc\u00e9der au travail, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation et aux soins de sant\u00e9. Nous sommes tous des citoyens du monde et l\u2019acceptation des diff\u00e9rences individuelles est essentielle.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La semaine suivante de la formation comprenait des activit\u00e9s de groupe, des tables rondes, des s\u00e9ances de brainstorming et des jeux. L&#039;objectif de cette deuxi\u00e8me semaine \u00e9tait de devenir conseiller afin d&#039;aider d&#039;autres migrants, r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et demandeurs d&#039;asile \u00e0 avoir un meilleur processus d&#039;int\u00e9gration et d&#039;\u00e9duquer la communaut\u00e9 d&#039;accueil \u00e0 \u00eatre plus accueillante. Les m\u00e9diateurs culturels font l&#039;interface entre l&#039;h\u00f4te et les non-locaux, cherchant \u00e0 assurer une cohabitation pacifique, l&#039;int\u00e9gration et, finalement, la propri\u00e9t\u00e9. En plus de servir de pairs \u00e9ducateurs et d\u2019influenceurs aupr\u00e8s d\u2019autres personnes qui pourraient se trouver dans la m\u00eame situation \u00e0 des m\u00e9diateurs culturels ?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mariia a une r\u00e9ponse claire \u00e0 cette question. Selon elle, \u00ab nous sommes les repr\u00e9sentants culturels de nos pays \u00bb. Et pour cette raison, elle pense qu&#039;ils devraient essayer d&#039;\u00eatre conscients et de comprendre la responsabilit\u00e9 de nos actes \u00bb. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, Daniel nous dit que \u00ab la migration est une exp\u00e9rience tr\u00e8s complexe dans la vie d&#039;un individu. Vous quittez un lieu et une culture auxquels vous appartenez et essayez de construire une vie dans une nouvelle. Il est donc important que les personnes qui connaissent d\u2019une mani\u00e8re ou d\u2019une autre les politiques et les processus migratoires et qui les ont v\u00e9cus partagent leur exp\u00e9rience directe afin de faciliter l\u2019\u00e9preuve de ceux qui viennent tout juste de commencer le voyage \u00bb.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Valoriser le r\u00f4le que les migrants peuvent jouer en tant que m\u00e9diateurs culturels \u00e9tait pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment l\u2019objectif principal de la formation en Italie, et Favour, Mariia et Daniel s\u2019accordent sur son caract\u00e8re constructif. \u00ab La formation m&#039;a donn\u00e9 l&#039;opportunit\u00e9 d&#039;ouvrir une nouvelle vision de la situation des migrations et des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s en Europe. Cela m&#039;a montr\u00e9 la situation similaire d&#039;autres personnes de diff\u00e9rents pays \u00bb, explique Mariia, qui affirme avoir pass\u00e9 l&#039;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re concentr\u00e9e sur la guerre en Ukraine avec sa famille et ses amis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsqu&#039;on lui demande ce qu&#039;ils souligneraient de la formation, Daniel r\u00e9pond \u00ab apprendre \u00e0 conna\u00eetre l&#039;exp\u00e9rience des autres qui ont subi ce processus directement, et les voir non pas comme un simple t\u00e9moignage enregistr\u00e9 dans un document audiovisuel, mais comme un exemple vivant et respirant \u00bb. qu\u2019on peut faire face \u00e0 de terribles difficult\u00e9s dans la vie et se manifester malgr\u00e9 cela \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Nous avions les connaissances, le pouvoir et l\u2019enthousiasme n\u00e9cessaires pour devenir conseillers.
