Le 13 octobre, de nombreux r\u00e9sidents du camp de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s de Nea Kavala se sont rassembl\u00e9s \u00e0 l'entr\u00e9e, brandissant des banderoles et criant avec col\u00e8re. La raison d'une telle sc\u00e8ne \u00e9tait de protester contre la mise en place d'un nouveau protocole qui les emp\u00eache d'acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la nourriture. En effet, ils vivaient \u2013 et vivent encore \u2013 cette situation depuis septembre. Oui, incroyable mais vrai : pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 des 1 200 habitants ne re\u00e7oivent pas de nourriture, selon<\/a> calculs effectu\u00e9s par Info Migrants<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais pourquoi cela se produit-il ? Depuis 2017, le Haut-Commissariat des Nations Unies pour les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s (HCR) \u00e9tait charg\u00e9 de verser l'allocation financi\u00e8re \u00e0 200 000 demandeurs d'asile en provenance de Gr\u00e8ce. Cependant, depuis septembre 2021, le gouvernement grec a repris le programme d\u2019aide. Les cons\u00e9quences ont \u00e9t\u00e9 non seulement le retard dans le versement de ces allocations vitales, mais aussi la mise en place d'un syst\u00e8me de distribution alimentaire qui a surpris de nombreux r\u00e9sidents du camp.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shakiba (19 ans), qui vit \u00e0 Nea Kavala depuis maintenant deux ans et demi, qualifie cette situation de \u00ab vraiment ennuyeuse et inqui\u00e9tante \u00bb. Elle explique qu'\u00ab un message a \u00e9t\u00e9 diffus\u00e9 indiquant que de la nourriture serait distribu\u00e9e pour une dur\u00e9e ind\u00e9termin\u00e9e et que les migrants ne recevraient pas d'argent pendant environ trois mois \u00bb. Du coup, les personnes qui avaient obtenu le statut de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9 et celles dont les demandes d'asile ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rejet\u00e9es n'ont plus eu droit \u00e0 ces allocations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les agents charg\u00e9s des demandes d'asile retardent consid\u00e9rablement la proc\u00e9dure d'asile.<\/p>Shakiba (19)<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Selon Shakiba, la principale raison des manifestations qui ont eu lieu en octobre est que \u00ab les responsables du droit d'asile retardent consid\u00e9rablement le processus d'asile \u00bb, ce qui affecte clairement la s\u00e9lection des b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de ces allocations. \u00ab J'ai r\u00e9cemment pass\u00e9 un entretien et, selon la nouvelle loi, ceux qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 interview\u00e9s au cours des quatre ou cinq derniers mois doivent en effet passer deux entretiens \u00bb. Shakiba attend toujours la r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 sa premi\u00e8re interview. \u00ab Si c'est positif, on ne sait pas combien de temps je devrai attendre la r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 mon deuxi\u00e8me entretien et mes documents\u2026 \u00bb, soupire-t-elle.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfin, interrog\u00e9e sur la r\u00e9action des autorit\u00e9s face \u00e0 la manifestation, Shakiba r\u00e9pond qu'elles \u00ab ont essay\u00e9 de mettre fin \u00e0 la manifestation simplement en disant qu'il fallait attendre et que nous ne pouvions rien faire \u00bb.
