Tras semanas de hacerse con el control de la mayor parte del pa\u00eds, finalmente pudieron tomar el poder cuando el presidente Ashraf Ghani anunci\u00f3 su dimisi\u00f3n y abandon\u00f3 el pa\u00eds. Desde entonces, Afganist\u00e1n es noticia todos los d\u00edas. Y, desde la distancia del campamento de Nea Kavala, Shakiba y Hossein sienten que comprobar sus redes sociales es \"realmente duro estos d\u00edas\".&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shakiba tuvo que abandonar Afganist\u00e1n cuando ten\u00eda cuatro a\u00f1os. Su madre le dijo que ya no era seguro, \"no s\u00f3lo en nuestra ciudad, Baghlan, sino en la mayor parte del pa\u00eds\", explica. La familia se traslad\u00f3 a Kazajst\u00e1n y despu\u00e9s a Grecia, donde viven desde hace dos a\u00f1os. Ahora tiene casi 19 a\u00f1os y apenas recuerda su tierra natal. Hossein no tiene ni un solo recuerdo de Afganist\u00e1n. Su familia es de la provincia de Daikondi, pero \u00e9l naci\u00f3 en Ir\u00e1n. Tras vivir un tiempo en Turqu\u00eda, se trasladaron a Grecia el a\u00f1o pasado. Ahora tiene 20 a\u00f1os y a\u00fan no ha visto Afganist\u00e1n. \"Pero siempre estoy pendiente de las noticias porque es mi pa\u00eds y me importa mucho\", dice. Tambi\u00e9n habla regularmente con su primo, que le mantiene al corriente de lo que ocurre con el resto de la familia.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>De joven no ve\u00eda a mi pa\u00eds... Pero estos d\u00edas me siento muy triste porque es mi pueblo el que est\u00e1 sufriendo.<\/p><cite>Hossein, 20 a\u00f1os<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de tener historias diferentes, ambas comparten una experiencia similar. Son j\u00f3venes y lidian con la distancia f\u00edsica -pero tambi\u00e9n psicol\u00f3gica- de su patria. \"De joven no vi mi pa\u00eds, as\u00ed que no puedo sentirme como la gente de Afganist\u00e1n ahora mismo\", explica Hossein. \"Pero al mismo tiempo, me siento muy triste porque es mi gente la que est\u00e1 sufriendo\". Para Shakiba, la situaci\u00f3n es \"demasiado dif\u00edcil a pesar de no estar all\u00ed\". \"Imag\u00ednese c\u00f3mo puede ser para la gente que vive all\u00ed\", a\u00f1ade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este sentimiento es probablemente compartido por una gran cantidad de personas fuera de Afganist\u00e1n. Concretamente, entre los 2,6 millones de refugiados registrados, seg\u00fan Amnist\u00eda Internacional. Como explica el Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Refugiados (ACNUR), los refugiados afganos constituyen una de las mayores situaciones de refugio prolongado del mundo y una de las mayores crisis de desplazamiento de la historia moderna. De hecho, durante tres d\u00e9cadas, hasta la guerra de Siria, Afganist\u00e1n ha sido el pa\u00eds con mayor n\u00famero de refugiados que huyen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>M\u00e1s de 1.300 personas viven en el campo de Nea Kavala, de las cuales 55,4% proceden de Afganist\u00e1n.<\/p><cite>Cifras \"OIM\" de mayo de 2021<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan las cifras de la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional para las Migraciones (OIM) de mayo de 2021, en el campo de Nea Kavala viven m\u00e1s de 1.300 personas, de las que el 55,4% proceden de Afganist\u00e1n. Open Cultural Center trabaja con muchos refugiados afganos de Nea Kavala y, de hecho, tanto Shakiba como Hossein son voluntarios en OCC. Cuando se le pregunta por el estado de \u00e1nimo estos d\u00edas en el campamento, Hossein responde que \"s\u00f3lo estamos tristes porque no podemos hacer nada por nuestro pa\u00eds. Por un lado, los talibanes declararon una amnist\u00eda para todos los funcionarios p\u00fablicos y prometieron el respeto de los derechos de las mujeres y la libertad de prensa. Por otro, el precio del burka se ha quintuplicado, est\u00e1n bloqueando el acceso de los afganos al aeropuerto de Kabul y las fotos de ciudadanos desesperados intentando huir del pa\u00eds se han hecho virales en Internet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cualquier caso, tanto Shakiba como Hossein no dudan al afirmar que no conf\u00edan en los talibanes. Shakiba piensa que \"son los primeros d\u00edas que est\u00e1n en el gobierno, as\u00ed que dicen cosas para que la gente los acepte. Pero despu\u00e9s es probable que cambien las leyes\". Y Hossein est\u00e1 de acuerdo. \"Est\u00e1n mostrando amabilidad\", dice, \"pero creo que eso es estrat\u00e9gico y que est\u00e1n esperando a que el mundo acepte su gobierno\".
