OFFER 1
One volunteer to teach Greek (Needs to be someone who is fluent in Greek language or a Greek person with residency in Spain)
OFFER 2
One volunteer to teach English (Needs to be someone who is fluent in English language or a UK/ USA person with residency in Spain)
OFFER 3
One volunteer to make videos, social media and journals.
Tasks
During this time volunteers will be actively involved in the different activities of the Open Cultural Center, Greece. Depending on the position volunteers will be carrying out different tasks.
- Teaching Greek to refugees
- Teaching English to refugees
- Making/editing videos, Communications, social media, etc.
- Assistance in other activities carried in the center ( sport activities, leisure, crafts, bike workshop, teaching refugee kids, etc)
Accommodation
Volunteers will share a room in the house next to the centre.
Pocket money
Each month, volunteers will receive an allowance of 270 euro.
Insurance
The volunteers will be covered by CIGNA insurance.
Requirements
- Be from Spain or Spanish resident
- Be younger than 30 years old and older than 23 years old.
- Experience in making/editing videos, graphic design, social media (in case you apply for the vacancy of video maker)
- Basic level of Arabic would be a plus
- Being adaptable and able to share a room with the same sex person.
- Being easy-going and loving intercultural environment
- Having ideas for future projects regarding refugee issues that could be implemented in the organisation
